On the rapid transit this morning, an older gentlemen, put his bike on the front bike rack of the bus, and got on. Upon sitting down, he said, to another lady, probably a neighbor, "hello".
She said, " I haven't seen you in quite sometime, where have you been?" he replied, I had cancer of the tongue, and the doctors, needed to cut a portion of my tongue out, but...." I just thank God that I am alive, because God is good."
I just sat back and said a prayer for my own thankfulness.
